Kid's Fun Run & Festival  - The Hughesville Running Club is hosting a 10K, 5K kid's fun run and festival on Sep 6. HBC will have a table near the Antique Barn from 8AM until 3PM. We need volunteers to hand out invitations welcoming people to our worship services and telling them about our ministries. Additionally, our parking lot will be used throughout the day, so we may need volunteers here to monitor and direct traffic flow.  Individuals willing to show their support for our community may sign-up at the Welcome Center. Psalm Singers  - The Psalm Singers will begin practices on Sep 7 at 6PM.  We invite all children 4 years old through 6th grade to join us. Sign up sheets are in the foyer.  Contact Sharon Payne if you have any questions.

Church Work Day  - There will be a church work day on Sep 20 from 8:00AM until Noon. Volunteers are needed and greatly appreciated!

Membership Class  - Members and nonmembers alike are invited to attend this class which will provide an overview of the following: our heritage, affiliation and distinctive; our joining requirements; our purpose and vision; our doctrinal statements; our constitution and bylaws; and our ministries. Food Shortage  - Donations of non-perishable food items to support the HBC food pantry are still needed. Your generosity will help feed needy church members and the poor people of Charles County. Donations may be deposited in the laundry baskets located in the clothes closets just inside the church’s main entrance. Thank you for your support!

Teachers Needed for Children and Youth - If you are interested in teaching children or youth on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings, please fill out a form available at the Welcome Center and return it to any member of the Nominating Committee or the church office.
