We have a large group of men who are excited about this ministry and
willingly give their vacation time to participate. We also have
former Hughesville members and men from Hurlock Baptist Church who
have joined us.
We welcome any who want to spend a week working to advance God's Kingdom. Special skills are not needed.
See Jim Waybright for more information.
Upcoming Projects
For the fourth year the Lord has led us to the Carolinas.
This year we will assist the congregation of the New Horizon Worship Center
to erect a new
church building. From May 3-10, we will stud out the inside of the
structure and complete additional work as time permits.
This church was formed about one year ago and consists of approximately 70 members,
most of whom are young married couples. They are currently meeting in a home in Tabor City, NC,
which is a short distance from Myrtle Beach. The church has four acres of land outside of Tabor
City. The structure will be a 60' x 125' metal building with brick trim.
Please pray for the Nailbenders and New Horizon's pastor, Dr. Thomas L.
Ward, in this venture.
Past Projects
In 2002, we assisted Mount Nebo Missionary Baptist Church in Loris, SC.
When permits for this building were held up, we redirected our efforts to
rebuild the porch of a 90 year old disabled man.
The Nailbenders traveled to Sandy Plains, SC in 2001 to assist with
construction
at Sandy Plains Missionary Baptist Church.
